Darkroom: Photo & Video Editor App Reviews

I left VSCO as my primary editing app for Darkroom, but now the updates have gone cold. There are a few very annoying bugs in this app and it hasnt received a new version since last October. Where did the developers go?!

Has to be the most friction-free photo editing app available for iOS. It never gets in the way. Everything is logical and exactly where it needs to be. Kudos for the craftsmanship.

This has met and even more exceeded my expectations

Stopped working on iPad Air 2. Emailed the developer and they said they would investigate but its been over a month and I still cant use it. Bummer plus there hasnt been any new updates since last year, this isnt even for the latest iOS. Try Polarr instead!

Great photo editing app. The controls are simple and powerful.

A very bad app did not like the controls it was like a re-did VSCO.

The best app for the pro photographer thats used to channel editing. Library integration is seamless and easy. Great interface. Feels and looks premium. Worth every penny.

What a great App, does all the tricks! Really a great editor to get the most out of your pictures... But wheres the iPad App?!?

Left VSCO for this because of just how easy and fast it is to edit photos.

I can push and pull photos in ways that feel natural and not gimmicky. I own so many photo editing apps, but this is the one I keep going back to. It helps me find the image I wish the sensor on my phone could capture. Get this app. Youll love it.

The ideal app for photo editing! However when in app purchase is made, the entire app becomes useless. Crashes at every single launch. Uninstalling and installing again does not help.

Are these 5-star reviews for real? The app comes with 12, very basic filters and thats it. Want to access the "Portrait" filters? Thats $1.99 in-app purchase. Want to access the black and white filters? Thats also a $1.99. Want to access the "curves" feature and share your filter? That costs $3.99. No thanks. Deleted.

This is a great tool for the first step into post production! Easy to use with many options for the color palette.

Super simple to use. No need to import photos is the biggest draw. It works. I guess you can refine the filters if you put in some time. There are only a few, and I bought the pack. They are okay, the functionality beats anything in the AppStore.

This app deserves more popularity. Being able to import photos: 1 star Being able to modify your old photos, instead of creating new ones: 2 stars Being able to create your own filters: 3 stars. Simple to use/Sleek and modern design: 4 stars FREE TO USE??? 5 stars!
