This app is one of the best in photography, is so cool to create your own filter and use curves for a better and manual adjust! I really recommended!
Curves? Perfect execution. Add an option to zoom in and this could replace VSCO for me.
I just LOVE this app!
The possibility to adjust the RGB curves is a total game changer for my mobile photography.
It even snatched the crown from VSCO Cam for that reason which I seriously doubted could ever happen.

Im liking this version a lot (having used the beta already). The UI is eminently useable after a couple of minutes. Straightforward and just works! The History function is excellent. The Curves tool is also excellent and thats a core function for me. The filters are generally low-key and provide a good start for editing.
(Im hoping for the option to save in higher resolution.)
I love editing photos on my iPhone and I found this new app today. The editing history section is so so sooooooo useful, but I think this app still lacks some functions. I totally see the potential of darkroom, but it has a long way to go. Good job though!

The editing features in this app are more or less the same as others. What makes Darkroom stand out from the others though is:
- an excellent UI
- powerful curves edits
- unlimited history
- the manner in which it utilizes my photos library
- speed/responsiveness
Bottom line: if Im not editing photos in Lightroom or Photoshop on my desktop, Im editing photos in Darkroom on my iPhone.
Some bad moments
Definitely good start but it requires lots of work to be really good photo editing app. It has couple of basic editing option and it is not worth the money. For some who has many photo editing apps this addition does not mean much except the decent curves editor. Everything else is already there on other apps like brightness, contrast and sharpness that is a bit noisy.
Dont be fooled. This app has very BASIC photo filtering out of the box. Only buy purchasing upgrades can it even be remotely useful. My advice. Do your research.. Lots of "true" free app like this out there. This is garbage.
What sold me on this app above all the other photo editing apps was the free curves editing function.... so Im pretty annoyed that its not actually free and is in fact $3.00. Dont advertise something as a feature of your free app if it has to be purchased.
If you dont know how to use RGB curves then its pretty much useless. Pre made filters are much better. Dont waste your $3 dollars
Would be great if the curve feature was FREE. Really, its just like any other filter/basic photo editing app. Nothing special, not worth it.
When the original Darkroom came out I eagerly bought the curves upgrade, lost interest and deleted the app. With the new release I wanted to give it another try, purchases would not restore, selected purchase again in hopes it would initiate seeing as it states the current upgraded filters are free for previous curve users. I was charged another 6.99$ atop my former purchase. App looks good but not worth a total of 14 bucks.
